Teachers served notice over using cellphones in class in TN

Seven teachers of government and aided schools in the Tamil Nadu's Erode district have been issued a showcause notice by the district education office for allegedly using mobile phones in the classrooms. This came after surprise checks were carried out by officials in schools, where these teachers were found using mobile phones in the presence of students despite a ban.
