Team purse for IPL 2024 auction to be increased to ₹100 cr: Report

The 2024 IPL auction will reportedly take place in December 2023 and teams will have an increased purse of ₹100 crore for the forthcoming mini-auction. Furthermore, the franchises will also reportedly be allowed to make as many retentions as they like. The BCCI is said to have shortlisted Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Kolkata as potential hosts for the auction.
