Montreal Canadiens scored two goals in just two seconds against Washington Capitals, breaking the National Hockey League record for fastest two goals by one team. Montreal Canadiens achieved the feat with fifth and sixth goals in their 6-4 victory. The previous record of three seconds was set on March 12, 1935 and was was equaled in 2004 and 2016.
