Techie builds AI job app for wife, helps her land a job

A software engineer built an AI-powered app called Dossier to help his wife find a job after nearly 10 months of struggling. The tool generates tailored resumes, cover letters and application emails, while tracking applications. After his wife landed a job using it, he open-sourced the project. Dossier supports local AI models and external services, offering users greater data control.
