Techie leaves ₹46 lakh package to join Indian Army

Shardendu Tiwari left a ₹46-lakh-a-year cloud engineering job in the corporate sector to join the Indian Army. The 27-year-old was commissioned as an Army officer after passing out from the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya on Saturday. Shardendu's father, Raj Kumar Tiwari, is an Army veteran who served in the Army Service Corps for 36 years.
