Techie turns robot dog into bionic chair for father with sclerosis
Jake Laser, a tech innovator, hacked a Unitree quadruped robot into a custom walking wheelchair to help his father, who is living with multiple sclerosis, overcome mobility issues. He combined the wheeled quadruped robot with a custom seat, modified control software, and automotive-inspired styling to create a personal mobility system capable of walking, rolling, and climbing over varied terrain.
