Teen beaten to death over ‘sacrilege’ charge in Punjab

A 19-year-old youth was beaten to death after he allegedly tore some pages of the Guru Granth Sahib at a gurdwara in Bandala village of Ferozepur on Saturday. The victim was identified as Bakshish Singh, a resident of Talli Gulam village. His father Lakhwinder Singh said Bakshish was mentally disturbed and was undergoing treatment for it.
