Teesta dam power station destroyed after major Sikkim landslide

A massive landslide destroyed the power station of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation's (NHPC) Teesta Stage 5 dam in Sikkim on Tuesday. The 510 MW power station was already under threat due to several minor landslides over the last few weeks. In videos that surfaced, a portion of cliff can be seen shifting followed by a collapse onto the power station.
