Telangana government's SIT against media outlets draws flak

Telangana constituted an SIT to probe cases registered in connection with the alleged telecast and online circulation of defamatory and obscene content against a woman IAS officer. However, critics said the govt launched restrictive measures against the media under the pretext of damage control.
