Telangana govt plans NDRF-like teams for disaster response

Taking serious note of the recent floods, Telangana police officials are contemplating to form specialised teams on par with the NDRF to participate in rescue operations in emergency situations in the state. Following CM Revanth Reddy's call for having special teams in the state, officials have been directed to frame guidelines for the teams and their training regimen.
