Telangana govt to replace existing '108' ambulances with new ones

The Telangana government will be replacing existing '108' ambulances (that operated for more than 3 lakh kms to date) with 200 new ones. The 108 Emergency Response Service is primarily designed to attend to patients of critical care, trauma and accident victims. "The ambulances will be deployed into service within 45 days," Telangana Health Minister T Harish Rao said.
