The Telangana government is planning a 130-acre golf course at Jawahar Nagar near Shamirpet and is also working on developing another world-class golf course at Somasila, along the Krishna River. These two projects in Telangana are aimed at introducing international-standard golfing facilities and attracting professional and amateur golfers from across the world.
