Telangana Police invokes UAPA against news platform critical of Congress-led govt

Telangana Police has invoked Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) against news platform TeluguScribe and sought details of its X account to identify its operator. The TeluguScribe account regularly posts content favouring Bharat Rashtra Samithi and critical of the ruling Congress party, a Newsminute report said. In response, the platform said, “We are not terrorists, Revanth Reddy Garu!”
