Telangana to deduct salary of employees neglecting parents

Telangana plans legislation to deduct 10–15% of government employees’ salaries if they neglect their parents. The deducted funds will be transferred directly to the concerned parents. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the move aims to uphold family values, ensure the welfare of senior citizens, and set a standard of responsibility for employees across the state.
