Telugu director Vijaya Bapineedu passes away aged 82

Telugu director and producer Vijaya Bapineedu passed away on Tuesday aged 82 due to age-related ailments. The filmmaker's last rites will take place in Hyderabad on February 14, as per reports. Bapineedu made his directorial debut in 1981 with the film 'Dabbu Dabbu Dabbu', and went on to direct and produce several films including 'Gang Leader' and 'Magadheerudu'.
