Temple committee bans entry of non-Hindus in Kedarnath, Badrinath shrines

The Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) passed a resolution on Tuesday to ban the entry of non‑Hindus inside 45 temples under its jurisdiction, including the Kedarnath and Badrinath dhams (shrines). The committee also approved a budget of over ₹121.07 crore for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra and introduced mobile phone restrictions within set distances in temple areas.
