Temple to be built on disputed Ayodhya land, Muslims to get alternate land: SC

Pronouncing the verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit, the Supreme Court ordered that the disputed land must be given to Hindus for the construction of temple and alternate land must be given to Muslims. Adding the Ayodhya site is one composite site, the court said, "Land measuring 5 acre shall be given to Sunni Waqf Board."
