Temples destroyed by invaders were rebuilt by Shivaji: Amit Shah

On Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birth anniversary, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that temples that were destroyed by Mughals and other foreign invaders were rebuilt by the Maratha king. "After Shivaji, this tradition of restoration of temples was continued by Bajirao Peshwa [and others]...Today...PM Narendra Modi is also taking that work ahead as Ram Mandir is being built," Shah said.
