Temporary bridge connecting Dehradun-Rishikesh washed away in rain

The temporary bridge connecting Dehradun to Rishikesh was washed away on Tuesday after heavy rain in Dehradun. The bridge, which was around 600-metre long, was built following the collapse of the Rani Pokhari bridge on the Dehradun-Rishikesh highway on August 27. Now, the traffic between Dehradun and Rishikesh has been diverted through Thano Bhogpur.
