Temu owner Colin Huang becomes China's richest person

Colin Huang, the owner of e-commerce platform Temu, has become China's richest person with a wealth of $48.6 billion. He surpassed Zhong Shanshan, the founder of bottled water company Nongfu Spring, who has held the top spot since April 2021. Huang started his career as a Google employee before founding e-commerce company Pinduoduo, now known as PDD Holdings.
