Tender coconut prices hit ₹80 in Raichur amid heat

Despite the monsoon season, scorching heat and inadequate rainfall in Karnataka have sustained high demand for tender coconuts in Raichur. Prices have risen to ₹70–₹80 for medium-sized coconuts. Reduced supply frequency — from once every two days to twice a week — and diversion of stocks to Mumbai and Delhi have worsened the supply-demand gap.
