Terminator zones on distant planets could harbour life: Study

A study has found the possibility of extraterrestrial life on exoplanets within the terminator zone - a ring on planets that have one side always facing its star and the other in darkness. Planets with a lot of land in the terminator zone could retain liquid water and potentially support life, even in absence of widespread oceans, the study stated.
