Termites eat up Andhra trader's lifetime savings of ₹5L kept in trunk

A pig-rearer in Andhra Pradesh lost his lifetime savings of ₹5 lakh due to termite infestation. The termites made large holes on the bundles of currency notes. Upon the discovery, the trader, who was planning to construct a house with the savings, reportedly collapsed and broke down. Neither the trader nor his family members have a bank account.
