Terror attacks on Chinese could impact BRI projects in Pak: Envoy

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong commented on recent terror attacks against Chinese nationals in Pakistan, saying such incidents could impact projects under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Nearly seven Chinese citizens have died in suicide attacks since March. Pakistan called Zaidong's statement "perplexing", calling it a significant departure from the typical diplomatic norms.
