Terror charges dropped against US national VanDyke & 6 Ukrainians: Report

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has dropped terror charges under the strict Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, or the UAPA, against US national Matthew VanDyke and six Ukrainian nationals, ThePrint reported. They were arrested for allegedly training anti-India ethnic armed groups in Myanmar. In a chargesheet filed, NIA booked them under sections of Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
