Tesla, SpaceX shares dip as Trump's party, backed by Musk, loses midterm polls

Shares of Elon Musk-led Tesla and SpaceX fell roughly 1.8% in after-hours trading as US President Donald Trump's Republican Party lost the midterm elections. Musk had reportedly spent roughly half a billion dollars backing Republicans. Musk and his companies are expected to face greater scrutiny as Democrats gain control of both the US Senate and the House.
