Tesla Fremont plant has had zero COVID-19 workplace transmissions: Safety chief

Tesla safety chief Laurie Shelby in an e-mail to staff claimed that Tesla's plant in Fremont, California had "zero COVID-19 workplace transmissions" since reopening in May. "COVID-19 exposure occurred outside workplace primarily through family members or housemates," she said. The e-mail came days after The Washington Post reported Tesla's seat manufacturing facility employees contracted COVID-19.
