Tesla pauses plans to set up factory in India, claim reports

Elon Musk-owned Tesla paused its plan to set up an EV manufacturing facility in India, Teslarati reported. The Centre had reportedly asked Tesla to set up a local factory before it granted tariff relief from 110% to 15% for Tesla EVs, which Tesla was refusing to commit to. This comes as Tesla recorded very low sales after its India debut.
