Tesla's senior executive Vineet Mehta quits after 17 years at company

Vineet Mehta, the head of battery architecture at Tesla, is leaving after more than 17 years at the company, The Information reported. He reportedly informed his staff of his departure on Tuesday. Mehta earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and later studied at Stanford University.
