Tesla sales drop to lowest since 2022 amid anti-Elon Musk backlash

Elon Musk-led Tesla reported 3.36 lakh vehicle deliveries in the first quarter of 2025, a 13% decline from a year ago and the lowest since the second quarter of 2022. Analysts were expecting the company to sell more than 3.90 lakh vehicles on average. This comes amid Musk’s involvement in global politics that sparked protests across the US and Europe.
