Tesla sues rival Rivian over 'disturbing pattern' of trade secret theft

Elon Musk's Tesla has filed a lawsuit against rival EV startup Rivian, accusing it of a "disturbing pattern" of recruiting Tesla employees and encouraging them to steal confidential information as they leave. The "stolen" trade secrets include recruiting practices and documents related to finding talent. Tesla said Rivian hired 178 former employees, of whom 70 joined it directly from Tesla.
