Tesla was travelling at high speed before fatal crash in Florida: NTSB

The Tesla Model 3 involved in a fatal crash in Florida that killed two people was travelling as fast as 90mph before it crashed into two trees and caught fire, the US NTSB said. According to the 5 seconds of pre-crash and crash data recovered from the vehicle, the 20-year-old driver didn't attempt to use the car's brakes, it added.
