Tether CEO rejects rumours of massive $20B funding round

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said the rumour that the company wanted to raise $20 billion was a "misconception". He clarified they never really needed that much outside money because they are already profitable. Investors were only willing to put in $5 billion, not the huge amount reported earlier.
