Tether to launch stablecoin pegged to the British Pound in July

Crypto firm Tether on Wednesday said it'll launch GBP₮, a stablecoin pegged to the British Pound Sterling, in early July. Tether operates a dollar-pegged stablecoin, the largest stablecoin by market cap, apart from stablecoins pegged to the Euro, the Chinese Yuan and the Mexican Peso.
