Texas teen strangles 2 newborn babies in hospital nursery, assaults staff; held

An 18-year-old man from Texas was arrested after he allegedly stormed into a hospital nursery and began strangling two newborn babies and assaulting staff members. The accused, Marcus Dewayne McCowan Jr, was charged on Monday with several felonies, including two counts of attempted first-degree capital murder. Witnesses reportedly said that he was acting "odd and unreasonable" prior to the attack.
