Thai businessman puts company on sale for ₹47 crore to become monk, live in forest
A businessman in Thailand has put his ice cream company up for sale for $6 million (around ₹47 crore) to become a monk. Siripong Akkarasriyuk, chairman of Hawell's, said he has been preparing for monkhood for 15 years. He plans to eventually leave his family, live in a forest and devote his life to meditation.
