Thai businessman selling his firm to become monk opened 22 stores in 3 yrs, now has only 1 left

Thai businessman Siripong Akkarasriyuk, who is planning to sell his ice cream firm Hawell's for ₹47 crore so that he can become a monk, had opened 22 outlets in just three years after the company's launch. Today, only one standalone Hawell's store remains operational. Akkarasriyuk said he'd struggled to get space for expansion, despite vacant spaces being available in malls.
