Thai King's crown is topped with large diamond from Kolkata

Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn was on Saturday presented with five royal instruments, including the Great Crown of Victory, which is topped by a large diamond from Kolkata. Adorned with diamonds set in gold enamel, the crown is 66 cm tall and weighs 7.3 kg. The coronation ceremony, held inside Bangkok's Grand Palace, is a mix of Buddhist and Hindu traditions.
