Thai man jailed for insulting King by selling duck calendars

A 26-year-old Thai man has been jailed for two years for selling calendars featuring satirical cartoons of yellow ducks that a court said mocked King Maha Vajiralongkorn. Bangkok’s Criminal Court ruled that the 2021 calendar contained pictures of yellow ducks in poses that resembled and ridiculed the Thai King, diminishing his reputation, the Thai Lawyers for Human Rights group said.
