Thailand's crown prince Maha Vajiralongkorn's wife Princess Srirasmi has renounced her royal title amid the corruption probe on her relatives. The statement, which is the first official confirmation of the princess' fall from grace, mentioned that "Princess Srirasmi has informed in a written document that she has resigned from her royal status". The royal couple were married in 2001.
