Thai woman collapses at work, dies after manager cancels her sick leave request

A 30-year-old Thai woman identified as May collapsed at work and later died a day after her manager refused her request for another day's sick leave, asking her to submit a new medical certificate. May was hospitalised due to an inflamed large intestine and hadn't improved after leaving the hospital. She went to work fearing she may lose her job.
