Thailand cabinet approves draft law to legalise casinos & gambling

Thailand's cabinet has approved a draft law that would legalise gambling and casinos in order to boost tourism, jobs and investment in the country, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra said. The draft law will now be sent to parliament for deliberation but no deadline has been set for its enactment as law. The law proposes the establishment of entertainment complexes.
