Thalassemia, Sickle Cell patients in Telangana to get pensions from August 15

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday announced social security pensions for all patients suffering from Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia in the state from August 15. The government has directed officials to identify all eligible beneficiaries and initiate the process for the pensions. Reddy also asked officials to ensure free sarees are distributed to 10 million women.
