Thane friends launch startup to solve India’s waste disposal issue

Thane-based entrepreneurs Shreyas Jalapur and Henik Gala have launched Scrapji, a tech-driven waste management startup comprehensively tackling India’s scrap problem. Childhood friends turned business partners, they began by collecting waste door-to-door before officially launching in June 2023. With cricketer Dinesh Karthik as its brand ambassador, Scrapji strives for a trash-free India by 2030.
