Thane lab technician held for making fake COVID-19 -ve reports

A lab technician who created fake COVID-19 negative reports for ₹1,000 each using Aadhaar cards has been arrested in Maharashtra's Thane. About 156 test reports, suspected to be fake, were found on the accused's phone, police said. Police caught the accused by sending a decoy customer after receiving a tip-off about the fake reports.
