Thane man takes ₹5k from friend to kill his wife, held 20yrs later

Thane Police Crime Branch has arrested a 46-year-old man for allegedly killing his friend's wife after taking a contract for ₹5,000 from the friend. The accused had been absconding since the crime and was arrested after 20 years. The crime branch officials had received a tip-off about him while working on cases related to wanted criminals.
