Thane revives five-day Diwali Pahat and Sandhya festival

Thane is expanding its traditional Diwali cultural celebrations back to a five-day extravaganza from Dhanatrayodashi to Bhaubeej after years of shrinkage due to loud DJ events. Morning Pahat concerts and evening Sandhya programmes will feature classical, devotional, and folk performances at Gadkari Rangayatan and Shivsamarth Ground, restoring the festival's cultural heritage.
