Tharoor acknowledges 'progress' in J&K, Congress says meet people to know reality

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant-Governor Manoj Sinha and said they discussed the situation and "encouraging progress towards normalcy" in the region. Reacting to Tharoor's remarks, Congress chief spokesperson in J&K Ravinder Sharma said, "People of Kashmir too were expecting you to meet them to have a better understanding of the ground realities."
