Tharoor faces backlash for 'drama in hills' remark for Nepal floods, he clarifies

Congress' Shashi Tharoor clarified after he received backlash over saying he was "blissfully unaware of drama...in hills" when he took off for Nepal. "The word doesn't only mean something theatrical...It's also defined as 'a state, situation or series of events involving intensely clashing forces'," he said, adding, "I do regret choice of a word that could be so easily misinterpreted."
