'The Disciple' only Indian film in IndieWire’s top 50 films of 2021

Chaitanya Tamhane directorial Marathi film 'The Disciple' is the only Indian movie to feature in IndieWire's top 50 movies of 2021. The film has won awards at the Venice International Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and the Asian Film Awards. The list was topped by American film 'The Power of the Dog' starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Kirsten Dunst.
